Your responsibilities:

  • Central local interface between the Global Internal Audit function and the German organization
  • Coordination and facilitation of Group Internal Audits across all phases (planning, execution, completion)
  • Translation of audit findings into clear, prioritized action plans including responsibilities, timelines, and success criteria
  • Management, tracking, and quality assurance of action implementation through to formal closure
  • Transparent, decision-oriented reporting to executive management and the Management Board
  • Analysis of audit results to identify key risks, root causes, and systemic weaknesses
  • Execution of targeted local audits, reviews, and readiness checks to proactively manage risks
  • Active enhancement of internal controls, processes, and governance mechanisms, and promotion of a sustainable risk awareness culture

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance, or Finance, ideally within an international corporate environment
  • Sound knowledge of auditing standards, internal control systems, and governance frameworks
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with audit or reporting systems is an advantage
  • Proven experience in working with senior management and management boards
  • Strong analytical and structured working approach, with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable measures
  • High level of assertiveness and communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at management level
  • High degree of integrity, personal accountability, and professional judgment
  • Business-fluent English and German skills (each at least C1 level)
